RAVA DOSA


                                                               ರವೆ ದೋಸೆ
Prep.,time 5 minutes
Soaking time 1/2 hr
Cooking 2-3 minutes ( one dosa)
Rava or semolina dosa or suji dosa,is thin & crispy & popular south indian dish & tasty dosa prepared by using fine rava with other ingredients,it is instant & whenever you want you can prepare immediately,& very easy dosa to prepare,the batter is different from other normal dosa like it watery than other dosa & preoaring also different....

Ingredients;

1 cup fine rava ( chiroti rava)
1/2 cup rice flour
1/2 cup maida
Salt as required
1/2 tsp sugar
5-6 green chillies finely chopped
Coriander leaves finely chopped
Curry leaves finely chopped
1 tsp grated ginger
1 tbsp cumin seeds
Water approximately 2&1/2 to 3 cups or little more or less.( normally,this batter is watery)

Method:

1. In a bowl take all things given & add water & mix & keep aside for 1/2 hr covered.

2. Heat tava on medium heat.when it is very hot sprinkle little water & bring it to moderate heat.

3. If the batter is thick add little more water & mix ( adjust the taste).

4. Take a ladle full of batter & pour on tava keeping ladle little height from tava starting from outer circle & filling inner ,don't worry about shape.sprinkle little oil & cover & cook for few minutes ir until done or until it turns golden brown colour & crisp in medium flame.

5. Remove & serve hot with ghee & any chutney or curry.
