SWEET CORN SAGU



Sweet corn sagu,corn means ಜೋಳ ,actually i din't aware of this sweet corn dishes,uptil now simply
when me & my daughter go out she would ask for roasted corn which on the street side they prepare keeping hot chorcoal & roasting corn with spicy chutney brushed on it i think u all know about that & even some have tasted it,my daughter likes it very much,this much i know about sweet corn but one of my good friend when she left bangkok she gave some leftovers like lentils,etc..in that she also gave sweet corn also ( frozen) for few days i did not observe what it was but today i saw it,so i thought to prepare regular sagu which i make for other vegetables,so i prepared it as side for chapathi,you can have for any like dosa,idli,poori etc...as side dish.it is very tasty & yummy &
healthy too.now we will see what healthy benefits are their in corn: if u compare to other vegetables
it is high in calories,it is gluten  free,were you can use as like rice, quinoa etc.. It contains valuable of
good level of B-complex & also contains some vitamins & minarals etc.....using corn we can make many dishes & can add with any dishes also.


Ingredients

Sweet corn 1 cup ( i used frozen) if you are not using frozen you can use regular corn which you should boil & keep ready
Salt as per taste
Jaggary little for taste
Curry leaves few

For grinding for masala

1/2 cup grated coconut
4-5 green chillies ( as per your taste)
Coriander leaves few
Ginger one small peace
Grind everything to smooth paste & keep

Method

Heat oil in a pan & add mustered seeds,curry leaves & when it splutters add grinded masala & mix & live it boil until raw smell goes then add cooked or frozen sweet corns & mix then add salt,jaggary & mix let it boil for another 5-6 minutes .then remove from stove top.

If you want you can add lemon juice for sour taste it is completely optional.

Serve hot hot sweet corn sagu with your favourite dis & enjoy.
