                                                                  ಮೊಥಿಚೂರ್ ಲಡ್ಡು
Mothichoor ladoo this is north indian side dessert ,where every people like this very much, actually this ladoo is made by fried boondi pearls, here only two important things are used that is gramflour & sugar syrup, this ladoo name came from sanskrit,in anciant days it was made to offer god, nowadays you can see usually in deepavali this sweets is made in more quantity,as i seen,& even in marriages & any other functions also.actually,i was thinking from many days to try this ladoo but i was not so confident to prepare but tomorrow my daughter is coming from india, she love this ladoo very much,so i thought,i will give her surprice by making this ladoo,so i was browising for recipe & i got from jayeshrees kitchen,i have made some variations ,so i decided to make & i was success...

Ingredients

Besan 1&1/2 cup
Sugar 1&1/4 cup
Orange food colour little
Cardamom powder 3 pods crushed
Badam 4-5 peaces chopped
Rose water 1/2 tsp
Water for making sugar syrup 1&1/2 cup
Oil for making boondies

Others
Hot water 2 tbsp

Method

First sieve the gram flour into a bowl & add little orange food color & mix next add little by little water & make batter it should be dosa batter consistancy,& keep aside.

Take sugar &  water to boil, boil stiring continuously, until sugar dissolves, then live to boil until one thread consistacy comes,( means when you take some syrup in laddle & pour it should fall like string without breaking) & switch of the flame.

Next heat oil for deep frying boondies for ladoo.

Take a spatula having holes in it,which we use for removing of deep fried items,& when oil is heat hold the spatula on the pan ( not too high,it should be little nearer to oil but be careful) & in a spoon
take the batter & pour on the spatula & brush it by the spoon means move the spoon here & there, then the drops of batter will fall into the oil,fry for few seconds & remove all boondies to kitchen towel, then again clean the spatula & continue same process for remaining batter ( keep two
spatulas one to remove boondies & another to pour the batter it will be easy.) & keep.after frying. Boondies soak immediatly in the sugar syrup.

When you finish all batter making boondies & soaked in sugar syrup add cardamom powder & mix well then in a mixie jar take all boondies finely coated with sugar syrup & add hot water & grind it until it becomes coarse or little paste like & take out to bowl & add badam & rose water & mix & start making ladoos.

Then garnish with pistachios ,

Enjoy.
