SOREKAI ROTTI

Sorekai is also called as bottle guard ,with this normally i prepare   idli,dosa,sambar,majjigehuli,curry...today i have prepared rotti.it is very easy and healthy and tasty dish.

It is cool to body,helps in reducing weight , it contains vitamin C , helps in digestion & constipation,
Etc.,




ingrediants:

1 small or medium size sorekai cleaned and grated ( no need of removing skin)

2 cups of rice flour

Salt as per taste

Pepper 1&1/2 tsp ( you can add little more)

Green chillies 3 to 4 if you want add more

Coriander leaves 1 fistful or little less

Grated coconut 3/4 cup ( adjust as per your taste)

Ginger finely chopped 1 tsp or paste

Little lemon juice ( optional)

2 to 3 tbsp of hot oil


Method:

1. Take rice flour in a bowl add all ingredients and mix well then add hot oil and mix ,next add little by little water and mix and make soft dough.

2. Take plantain leaves ( bale yele)and cut them in medium square and brush little oil .

3. Take a medium size ball of dough and spread evenly and thinly and sprinkle little oil and keep.

4.heat tava ,when it is hot enough put the leaf upside down and care fully remove the plantain leaf using spatula and leave to cook.

5, after few mins turn the rotti and cook other side too.

6. Remove and serve hot with side.

Notes:

You can make roties directly on tava or as you wish how you prepare normally at your home .
