Seemeakki or sabudana dosa,today i tried to make sabudana dosa & searched for recipe & got many recipe done by using curds & rice flour but i did not want to try that type & thought to do like regular dosa where i include seemeakki also with other ingredients,so here it is ,it came out both crisp soft & tasty.
Ingrediants;
1 cup of dosa rice or idli rice or regular rice
1/2 cup of urad dal + 2 tbsp
1/2 cup of seemeakki or sabudana
1/4 th cup of avalakki or poha + 1 tbsp
1 tsp of methi seeds
Method;
1. Clean everything together & soak in sufficiant water for 4-5 hrs.
2. Now grind everything to a fine padte by adding sufficient water.
3. Mix well & cover & keep for fermentation over night.
4. Next day add sufficiant salt & mix well.
5. Heat tava & pour ladle full of batter & spread thin dosa ( you can make or thick like set dosa) sprinkle little oil & cover & cook until done.
6. Remove & serve with chutney or sambar.
