CAPSICUM MASALA CURRY


Capsicum or doddamenasinakai masale palya or masala curry is very easy to make & tasty too it goes well with roti,chapathi,dosa etc.,

Ingrediants;

1 medium large green capsicum chopped
1 or 2 green chilli slitted
1 medium onion finely chopped
1 tomato finely chopped

For seasoning;

1 tb sp oil & ghee both
1 tsp sha jeera or normal jeera

Masala powders;

1 tsp red chilli powder
1 tsp coriander powder
1/2 tsp garam masala powder
Salt as required
Little sugar for taste

3-4 cashews
3-4 badam soaked in water & grinded to fine paste

Kasuri methi or coriander leaves for garnishing
1 tbsp lemon juice

Method;

1. Heat oil & ghee in a pan and add jeera & when it splutters add green chilli & fry then add chopped onions & fry until it is done then add chopped tomatoes & cook until it is soft.

2. Now add chopped capsicum & fry & add 1/2 cup or little more & cook on a medium flame until done.

3. Then add all powders including salt & sugar & mix well & leave it to boil for few more minutes & here you add cashews & badam paste & mix this makes little thick consistancy & enhanses taste.

4. Let it boil few more minutes & remove.

5. Now add lemon juice & mix.

6. Finaly garnish & serve.
