METHI KA THEPLA


Methi ka thepla this is also from gujrat & one more Gujrathi dish which ia also comes under group of roties or what we call chapati but ingrediants are quite different & this can be made plain without methi or mentya soppu or fenugreek leaves here i made using methi & some other ingredients....

Ingrediants;

1 cup of wheat flour
1/4 cup of gram flour or kadalehittu
Salt as per taste
Methi leaves 1/2 cup finely chopped
1/2 tsp coriander powder
1 tsp of red chilli powder
1/2 tsp of jeera powder
1/2 tsp of ginger paste
1/4 tsp of turmeric powder
Little sugar

Method;

1. Take all ingrediants in a wide bowl & mix well & add little by little water & knead to soft & pealable dough & cover & keep aside for 15 minutes.

2. Now make equal balls with the dough & keep.

3. Now heat a tava & take one ball of dough & dip in dry flour & roll into thin disk .& cook both sides smering little oil & until brown spots apear both the sides.

4. Do the same with all remaining dough.

5. Serve hot with any curry,i served with batata nu shaak which i have already posted rhe recip.
