Actually,yesterday i made poha oggarane,& i had some left over poha / avalakki so i was thinking what to do & was searching for some recipes so i got this poha idli recipe,so thought to do this & was first time i was trying this really,can't beleave it came out very good & very soft & spongy texture.here it is......😊
Ingredients;
1/2 cup poha/avalakki
1/2 cup urad dal
2 cups of idli rava
Method:
1. Soak poha & idli rava together & urad dal seperaly for 2-3 hrs,
2. Firstly grind uraddal to smooth & fluffy paste without any lumps.
3. Next grind poha & idli rava for few seconds & remove.
4. Mix both the batter add salt & keep for fermentation overnight.
5. Next morning asusual grease dli plates & pour ladle full of batter & steam for 10 minutes or until done.
6. Serve hot with chutney & sambar.
