COCONUT RICE

   
                                                              ತೆಂಗಿನಕಾಯಿ ಆನ್ನ

Coconut rice is the rice which is very tasty & healthy too.very easy to prepare.normally all dishes prepared by using coconut is very tasty,but using of coconut more is also unhealthy so we should be aware about that.in kannada one proverb is there,'ingu,tengu idre manganu adige madtte' means if there is coconut & asafoetida even monkey prepares good food.😜.in rice we can prepare variety of dishes,so let us start now....

Ingredients;
1 cup rice ( cooked using coconut milk) ( optional)
1/2-3/4 cup of finely grated coconut
Salt
3-4 chopped green chillies
1-2 red chilli
Curry leaves
Mustered seeds 1 tsp
1/2 tsp jeera
1/2 tsp chanadal
1/2 tsp uraddal
1" grated ginger
1 tbsp ghee
Coriander leaves for garnishing

Method;
1. Cook rice by adding both water & coconut milk ( you can also cook normal rice)

2. Grate coconut and keep ready.

3. In a pan heat heat ghee & add mustered seeds,jeera,chanadal ,uraddal & curry leaves & fry until
dals change colour,then add green & red chillies & fry.

4. Now start mixing cooked rice,add salt,& mix well.

5. Garnish with coriander leaves.

6. Serve.

7. Here you can add roasted peanuts & roasted cashews ( any one)

8. If you cook in coconut milk the taste enhance. But it is completely optiona
