CAPSICUM MASALA BHATH


                                                          ದೊಡ್ಡ ಮೆಣಸಿನಕಾಯಿ ಅನ್ನ
Prep.,time; 10 minutes
Cooking time; 10 -15 minutes
Capsicum masala bhath or rice,is the mixed rice of capsicum & freshly grounded masala,you can make this rice by using vangi bhath powder also,but this rice is also very easy & very tasty too.you can mix with freshly cooked rice or left over rice.with this you can serve any raitha.this rice is very tasty & healthy too.

Ingredients;
1cup chopped capsicum
1 cup cooked rice ( you can have more)
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
Salt as per taste
1 tb sp lemon juice

For masala;
4-5 red chillies
Small piece of cinnamon
1/2 tsp coriander seeds
1/2 tsp jeera
1/4 tsp urad dal
1/2 tsp channadal

For tadka;
1 tbsp oil
1 tsp mustered seeds
1-2 dry red chilli broken
1/2 tsp channa dal
1/4 tsp urad dal
Curry leaves
1 tbsp peanuts

Method:
1.firstly cook rice & keep ready &  In a pan heat oil & add things given under tadka & fry until it turns golden brown.

2. Add capsicum,salt & turmeric powder & mix & sprinkle very little water & cook until capsicum become tender & cooked,keep an eye otherwise it burns,keep mixing frequently.( cook on low flame)

3. Dry roast the things given under for masala & cool & grind into smooth powder & keep.

4. After capsicum is cooked add cooked rice ,& mix finely( on a low flame) & then add grinded masala powder & mix check salt ( little salt you have put before only) & mix well.

5. Remove & add lemon juice & mix well.

6. Serve with any raitha which you like.
