SOUTEKAI DOSE


                                                          ಸೌತೆಕಾಯಿ ದೋಸೆ
Soaking time 4 hrs
Prep time 10 minutes
Cooking time 2-3 minutes
Soutekai or cucumber dosa,is a very easy & tasty & healthy dosa.cucumber is very healthy vegetable,from this usually we prepare salad or raita as side dish,some also prepare idli from this & also dosa.here i prepared dosa it was very tasty.if you want you can prepare normal dosa or very thin & crispy dosa also.




Ingredients;
1 cup rice
1/2 cup to 3/4 cup chopped cucumber
1/4 cup grated coconut
2-3 green chillies
1 tsp jeera
Coriander leaves little
Salt as per taste
Water as needed

Method:

1. Soak rice for 2-4 hrs & drain soaked water & keep.

2. Grind chopped cucumber,green chilli,coconut,jeera,& coriander leaves coarsly,then add soaked rice & grind to smooth paste.byadding little   water.

3. Pour the batter into a bowl & add salt & water & mix it should be little watery & if you want very thin like rava dosa then you can add little more water to it.

4. Heat tava & pour one ladle full of batter & spread & sprinkle little oil & cook on medium flame,or if you want to prepare like rava dosa pour the bater in middle & tilt the tava & spread the batter thinly & cook.

5. Remove & serve hot with chutney.
