BENDI PALYA


                                                            ಬೆಂಡೆಕಾಯಿ ಪಲ್ಯ

Cooking time; 15 minutes
Bendekai means ladies finger ,curry,this curry can be served as side dis for roti,dosa plain white rice etc.,bindi/okra/bendekai/ladies finger is very healthy,it improves memory power in kids.

Ingredients:
1 cup bendekai
1 tbsp oil

For grinding;
1/2 tsp mustered seeds
1 -2 red chilly
Little less tyan 1/2 cup grated coconut
Pinch of turmeric powder

For tadka;
1tsp oil
1/2 tsp mustered seeds
1/2 tsp urad dal
1 broken red chilli
Curry leaves

Others
Salt
Jaggery little
Tamarind paste or water 1&1/2 tsp ( if you want more u can add)

Method;

1. Fry by adding 1 tsp oil to bendekai until its stickiness goes.

2. Grind the given things to coarse paste & keep

3. Add tamarind water to fried bendekai & cook until done ( it should be little crisp, don't cook too much)
4. Then add grinded mixture ,salt & jaggery & mix well till all bindi's coated with masala.

5. Cook for little more minutes approximately,1 minute,

6. Remove & serve.
