HESARUBELE PAYASA


                                                         ಹೆಸರುಬೇಳೆ ಪಾಯಸ

Moongdal  or hesrubele payasa is a kheer or sweet dish which is prepared by using moong dal ,.normally this kheer is made by using moong dal & sugar or jaggery & milk.here i tried by using condensed milk it came out very tasty...


Ingredients:

1 cup moong dal
3/4 cup condensed milk
2 pods of cardamom crushed
1/2 cup milk
1 tbsp dry fruits
1 tbsp ghee

Method;

1. Cook moong dal until soft in cooker.

2. In a vessel heat ghee & fry dry fruits & keep.fir remaining ghee add cooked moong dal.

3. Live it to boil then add milk & mix live to boil for few minutes.& add condensed milk & cardamom powder & mix & let it boil for few more minutes,but keep stirring frequently otherwise bottom will get burnt.

4. Remove from stove & garnish with dry fruits

5. Serve hot or cold.

Note; check consistency if it is too thick add little milk.
