MIXED VEGETABLE SAGU


                                                              ಮಿಶ್ರ  ತರಕಾರಿ ಸಾಗು
Prep., time 15-25 minutes
Cooking time 5-8 minutes
Mixed vegetable sagu is the gravy which has different kinds of  vegetables in it,that is your choice,this sagu is served with poori,dosa,etc., very easy to prepare & very tasty too.

Ingredients;

1 cup cooked vegitables of your choice or like carrot,beans,peas,onion,potato)
Onion 1 medium size chopped.

For grinding;
1/4 cup grated coconut
1" cinnamon
2-3 cloves
3-4 black pepper
1" ginger
5-8 cashews
Less than 1/2 onion
1-2 tsp dhalia or hurigadale
Little coriander leaves
3-4 green chillies

Tempering;
1 tsp ghee
1/2 tsp mustered seeds
Curry leaves few
Hing ( optional)
1/4 tsp turmeric powder

Others;
Salt as per taste
Little jaggery
Lemon juice 2 tsp

Method;

1. Cook all vegetables & keep ready

2. Grind to smooth paste the given things under grinding.

3. In a pan heat ghee & add temparing & fry for few minutes then add chopped onions & fry unti it changes its colour.

4. Then add cooked vegetables & grinded mixture & mix & add sufficient water & live to boil.

5. Add sugar & jaggery & mix well & live for few more minutes to boil until the raw smell goes.

6. Remove & add lemon juice & mix.

7. Serve hot with poori.....
