ತವ ಪುಲಾವ್
This dish is very famous mumbai street food,usually we all make normal or regular pulao in our homes but this is completely different from that,main ingredient is pav bhaji masala.from so many days i was thinking to try this at home but not tried,today my daughter asked me try,so we both got into work & started,here it is....
Ingredients
2-3 cups of cooked basmathi rice
1&1/2 cup of all vegetables ( beans,carrot)
Seasoning
Butter 1 tbsp
Onions 1/4-1/3cup finely chopped
Tomatoes chopped 1/2 cup
Capsicum chopped 1/2 cup
Green peas 1/4-1/3 cup
Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
Salt as per taste
Green chillies 2 chopped
Pav bhaji masala 2 tbsp or if you want add more
Sugar little ( optional)
Coriander leaves for garnishing
Chop all vegetables & keep ready.
Add butter heat & fry onions
Add tomatoes & ginger garlic paste & fry
Add other vegetables & fry for few minutes
Add salt,sugar & pav bhaji masala & mix nicely
Mix rice & garnish with coriander leaves
Method
If you want you can cook all vegetables once ( partially) or you can cook directly on tava.
Heat butter on a wide tava,& fry chopped onions until it becomes little pinkish,then add tomato & fry until it becomes soft then add ginger garlic paste & fry,then add capsicum and fry for few minutes & add add other vegetables & fry for few minutes & sprinkle little water & cook until all vegetables are cooked,then add pav bhaji masala,salt & sugar & mix throughly.& cook for few seconds.
Then add cooked rice & mix well & garnish with coriander leaves .
Serve hot with raita.
