ಹೂ ಕೋಸಿನ ಅನ್ನ
Today, i had cabbage left in fridge so i decided to prepare curry & rasam but no i was not interested to prepare that so finally i decided to prepare pulao by using cabbage,my daughter was asking cabbage pulao! No,but i had decided,so i started preparing,i don't no wether others have tried but i tried it it came out very good & even my daughter liked it....ha ha :)
Ingredients
Basmathi rice 1 cup (cooked)
Cabbage 1 cup
Capsicum 1 small chopped
Green peas 1/4 cup
SeasoningGhee 1 tbsp
Jeera 1 tsp
Cinnamon 1/2"
Cardamom 1 pod
Cloves 1-2
Bay leaves or pulao leaves 2-3
Salt as per taste
For grinding masala
1/3 cup grated coconut
4-5 green chillies
1/4 cup coriander leaves
Method
Cook rice & keep ready.
Grind the things given under grinding to fine paste adding water ( not too much water)
Heat ghee in a pan & add jeera after it splutter add cinnamon,cardamom & cloves with bay leaves& roast, until well roasted then add chopped vegetables & mix & add little water & cook covered on medium flame until all vegetables are well cooked,then add grinded masala & mix that all vegetables
well coated & live for few minutes that water of grinded masala evaporates,
Next add cooked rice,salt & sugar ( optional) & mix well.
Remove from stove & serve with any raita.
