AVALLAKKI OGGARANE / POHA UPMA


                                                               ಅವಲ್ಲಕ್ಕಿ ಒಗ್ಗರಣೆ

ಅವಲಕ್ಕಿ or poha is thick flattened rice,with this poha we can make so many varities,which is very tasty,today i have prepared very simple poha variety it is very easy & within no time you can finish the job,with few ingredients,it will be very tasty.try this at your home...
Ingredients

1 cup poha cleaned & soaked in water ( do not add more water only immerse the poha)


Seasoning
Oil 1 tbsp
Mustered seeds 1 tsp
Channa dal 1/2 tsp
Urad dal 1/2 tsp
Green chillies 5-6 chopped finely
Curry leaves
Salt as per taste
Sugar little ( optional)
Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp

Others

Grated coconut 1/4 cup
Coriander leaves 1 tbsp
Lemon juice 1 tbsp ( adjust as per taste)



Method of preparation of poha upma


Method

Heat oil in a pan & add mustered seeds when it crackles add channa dal & urad dal & fry till golden
brown,then add green chillies & fry & add curry lives &  turmeric powder & mix then add soaked poha,salt,sugar & mix well & add lemon juice ,mix .

Lastly,garnish with grated coconut & coriander leaves.
