BARLEY IDLI






Ingrediants;

1/2 cup of idli rice

1/2 cup of urad dal

1/2 cup of barley

1 fistful ( little less ) of poha

1/2 tbsp of fenugreek seeds

Method;

1. Soak all Ingrediants in sufficiant water for 4 to 5 hrs.

2. Grind everything to fine batter and keep for fermenting over night.

3. Next day add salt and mix well.

4.brush oil to idli plates and pour the batter.

5. Cook for 12 to 15 mins or until done.

6. Remove and serve with any side you wish.

7. NOTE: here you can add carrot and cashews too.

You can season the batterwith mustered seeds,urad dal ,curry leaves and coriander leaves and prepare masala idli too.
