IDLI USING KADALEPURI OR PUFFED RICE



This idli is as usual regular idli,but normaly we use avalakki or phoha to get soft idlies here i tried using kadalepuri or puffed rice.it came out very well

Ingrediants:

1cup of uraddal

2cups of idli rava

2fistfull of kadalepuri or puffed rice.

Salt as needed

Method;

Soak urad dal for 3to 4 hrs

Soak puffed rice before grinding urad dal may be 10to 15 mints

Grind both into smooth batter & keep

Heat some water in a vessal ( it should be worm,if u touch in your finger u should feel warm) pour idli rava & discard the extra water if the rava & keep aside for 10 to 15 minutes.

Then mix the rava with grinded batter throughly & cover & keep it over night to ferment

Next day add salt & mix well & make idlies.
