MAKKAI KA SHORBHA



Corn shorba is a tasty & healthy soup,it is also low calorie soup,actually this recipe i got from one of the blog & also i had ready frozen corn ,so i thought i will try this.it was very easy to make.

Ingredients;
1/2 cup corn kennels
1/4 cup carrot
1/4 cup onions chopped
1 tsp oil
1 clove
Bay leaf
1"cinnamon stick
3-4 pepper
Little garlic paste ( optional)
1/2 tsp coriander powder
1/4 tsp jeera powder
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
Salt as needed
Little sugar for taste ( optional)
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tbsp coriander leaves
1 tbsp fresh cream ( optional)

Method:
1. Heat oil in a pan & add bay leaf,cinnamon,pepper & garlic paste then fry until nice aroma comes out then add onions & fry until it changes its colour next add carrot & fry  for 5 minutes then add corn & 1 cup water & cook until it is cooked then remove from fire & live it to cool,then grind everything to smooth puree ( not bay leaf)  & bring to boil,add 2 more cups of water & add salt & sugar & leave to boil for few minutes or until nice aroma comes out.then switch off the stove.

2. Mean while fry little carrot ,onion  chopped ,in little oil ( it should not over cook) should be little crunchy then add little corn to this & mix & keep ready.

3. After removing from stove add fryed carrot ,onion ,corn & mix then add lemon juice & garnish it with coriander leaves & fresh cream.

4. Serve hot.
